AKA Moving Forward?

On 07/06/2020 I sent an email to Filmaka asking if they needed anything from me in an attempt to break the standstill. Today (07/09/2020) I drafted another email that I was going to send next Monday (07/13/2020) in the case I didn’t hear back by then.

Since the email I was going to send was a bit more — pushy — I had some friends look it over. I got some minor feedback, made some changes, and saved the draft. As I saved the draft Filmaka responded to my first email sent on the 6th (07/06/2020). Actually it was the first email response I’ve gotten since submitting the scripts.

All that aside they told me they will have an update for me by Monday (07/13/2020). Thats both exciting and terrifying.

It’s exicting because it means we are once again actually moving foward. While we might still be in the writing phase, it’s better than being in a standstill.

It’s terrifying beucase it means we are, in fact, moving forward. It means sooner than later (finally) I am going to have to make a choice about attempting to shoot during the pandemic or wait it out along with a bunch of other important decisions (cast/crew/location/etc…).

I am however looking forward to their feedback. The next installment will hopefully be going over their feedback and how we plan on addressing it.

With that in mind see you in the next installment!
